We have vigorous pre- and post-publication marketing strategies that we pursue in conjunction with our authors: these efforts include posted reviews on reputable sites, organized blog tours, online Blogtalk radio interviews, and help for authors who wish to plan book release party events. Regal authors are also encouraged to develop dynamic roles that maximize their visibility on our own Off the Precipice literary platform as discussion hosts or competition judges. In our experience, writers wish to focus primarily on their writing endeavors. To this end, we at Regal House take our marketing responsibilities very seriously. While some degree of self-promotion is essential in the publishing world today, Regal provides extensive marketing support that allows our writers to do what they do best: write their next novels.
In conjunction with Fitzroy Books, Pact Press, and Off the Precipice, we endeavor to maximize our authors’ online exposure with interviews; novel excerpts; opportunities to judge literary contests; blog-post contributions; blog tours; writing workshops and Blogtalk interviews. We actively seek pre- and post-publication reviews for our authors’ novels at the major reviewing agencies and work closely with our authors to organize library and bookstore-signings, reading engagements, and radio interviews. Like other small presses, we are delighted to provide authors with multiple copies of their novels at discount, which can then be sold at retail value during the subsequent book signing – with all the profit from these sales retained by the author. We are perpetually seeking ways to brag and boast about Regal-published works and the marvelous authors who create them!
