
Publisher & Editor-in-Chief: Jaynie Royal
Jaynie Royal is the publisher and editor-in-chief at Regal House Publishing. While Jaynie’s academic background is in history and archaeology, she has long nursed a passion for literature. After spending many years navigating the publishing industry, Jaynie decided to start a new enterprise that invested deeply, meaningfully and significantly in its authors: Regal House Publishing. Since, of Kel, and the nonprofit arm, The Regal House Initiative. Jaynie has worked as a senior marketing strategist, and has advanced certifications in digital marketing and marketing management from the American Marketing Association.

Creative Director: C. B. Royal
C.B. Royal is the creative director at Regal House Publishing. A graduate of North Carolina State University, with a concentration in fashion and graphic design, her cover design work has won recognition, for multiple titles, in Eric Hoffer’s de Vinci Eye Book Award and others.

Editor: Elizabeth Lowenstein
Elizabeth is a Regal House editor based in California, where she spent 31 years doing research and drafting opinions for the state Court of Appeal. Elizabeth has a B.A. from the University of California Santa Cruz, a Ph.D. in psychology from Stanford University, and a J.D. from U.C. Hastings College of the Law. While not proofreading and copyediting for friends and acquaintances, she may be found back in school, this time to learn something useful, like Spanish.

Editor: Emma Larking
Emma Larking is a Regal House editor based in Australia with a background in literature, law, political theory, and applied philosophy. She has published widely on the concept and status of human rights, and on refugees and people movements. Currently a Visiting Fellow at RegNet, Emma’s research considers the capacity of human rights to redress material inequality.

With an MFA in hand and years of professional editing experience, Cindy brings clarity and professionalism to every project. Based in the UK, she is passionate about helping voices shine through the written word. When she is not hiking in the Lake District, she likes to hang out with her terrier, Henry.

Heather Bell Adams is the author of Maranatha Road, winner of the IPPY Gold Medal for the Southeast, and The Good Luck Stone, winner of the Next Generation Best Historical Novel. Her work, which has been awarded the Doris Betts Fiction Prize, Rose Post Creative Nonfiction Award, Carrie McCray Award, and James Still Fiction Prize, appears in the North Carolina Literary Review, Raleigh Review, Still: The Journal, The Thomas Wolfe Review, The Petigru Review, Broad River Review, and elsewhere. She recently served as the 2022 Piedmont Laureate.
