
Nétonon Noël Ndjékéry, born in Moundou, Chad, started his career with a first published short-story by Radio-France Internationale. Since then, he has been living near the lake of Geneva in Switzerland. He is currently the author of six novels, among them Au petit bonheur la brousse (Taking time as it comes) and Il n’y a pas d’arc-en-ciel au Paradis (No rainbow in Paradise), which received the Hors concours prize and the Major literary prize of Black Africa in 2022, and the Lettres frontière prize in 2023. His work is currently translated into English, Arabic, and Serbian.
